The Event
This year, we have 14 amazing acts squaring off in the lip sync battle of the century (or 2016). Our performers range from solo acts, to groups of five (or in one case a group of five with a rotating additional member). Our performers have spent the last month (or more) preparing two separate lip sync performances. More importantly, not only have they donated their time, but they have taken on a significant fundraising commitment in order to perform. Doors will open at 8pm, and we expect a line, so please (please) arrive early to make sure you don’t miss any of the performances. Show starts at 9pm.
The first round consists of seven head to head lip sync battles. Each performance is 60 seconds (if we did full songs, the night might not end), and songs are selected by each individual/team in advance. After each face-off, our MCs, the amazing (and award winning) Sunday Service improv group will rely on crowd applause to determine who wins.

Following the opening round, and a 20 minute intermission (fuelled by our exclusive beer partner, Red Truck), all of the non-winners will perform their second act. We’ll have one more intermission, then it’s on to the final round. Our judges will be breaking out the score cards for the Underdog and Final rounds, so all you have to do is watch and cheer.
Following the final act, we’ll tally the votes, and present the first, second, and Underdog round winners, as scored by the judges.
Then, we PARTY. Dancing shoes highly recommended as our lipservice DJs will be taking over, and the night really begins.

What time should I arrive? Doors are at 8pm, and the show is at 9pm. With a few years experience behind us, we can tell you that there will be a line, so arrive early. You don’t want to miss a minute of these performances.
I can’t make it, but would like to help. What should I do? Donate to one of our amazing teams or solo performers!
Is lipservice sold out? YES
Can I still get tickets? We’ll have a VERY LIMITED amount of tickets for $35 (cash) at the door. People will be lining up early. If capacity allows, we’ll allow more people in AFTER the performances, to join the dance party. This will be around 11pm (admission will be $20 for party-only), and subject to capacity.
