The big #lipserviceyvr 2016 recap
Gratitude. Among many other (positive) feelings, this is the one that keeps coming to the top since last week.
lipservice 2016 was a massive success in every way, and we don’t know if we’ll be able to properly convey our gratitude to every single person involved, but shit, we’re going to try.
Firstly, a massive thanks to our performers. Each and every one of them left it all on the stage, and collectively, they raised over $15,500 for imagine1day. Speechless, humbled, indebted, take your pick. Without our performers, lipservice is quite literally only an idea. You guys were beyond amazing.
To our volunteers; we’ve got it good, and we know this. The event, and all pre-event activities went so smooth we didn’t know what to do with ourselves, but we do know that the event could not have happened without you either.
Big big thanks to our event partners, Imperial Vancouver and all of their staff, the Sunday Service, our DJs El Rizzy and DJ Cootbouillon, and of course imagine1day for all of the support they provide.
The event could not have happened without our corporate and prizing sponsors; Red Truck Beer, Famoso Pizza, Pemberton Music Festival, Arc’teryx, Superfly Ziplines Whistler, Herschel Supply Co., Take Five Trading, Pacific National Exhibition, GranFondo Canada, Vancouver Canucks, lululemon athletica, lululemon lab, Nütrl Vodka, Brush Naked Toothbrushes, Nicli restaurant, earls restaurants, and Vital Supply Co. Collectively, these organizations have donated over $6000 in goods and services to lipservice, which have in turn allowed us to reward the amazing efforts of our performers.
Last but certainly not least, to everyone who spent their hard-earned money to come to an independent fundraising event in Vancouver on a sunny Saturday in April, we thank you!
Together, we all contributed to raising over $25 000 for imagine1day!!!
