Guest Judge 2014 Profile // Fashion Editor Sara Rose
lipservice is thrilled to announce Vancouver fashionista and NICHE magazine Fashion and Beauty editor Sara Rose as one of our Guest Judges for the event on March 29 at the Imperial.
Sara Rose, a Victoria, BC native, grew up blessed to be beautifying, dressing and messing around inside her older sister’s closet. With a plethora of clothing, beauty products & shoes, there is no surprise that you can now see Sara acting as makeup artist, hair stylist & stylist, for any of her hired gigs. It is fair to say that Sara Rose’s career and love for beauty and fashion all flourished from there.
As Sara sees it, she officially embarked on the beginning of her career in the Caribbean, where she relocated to, to take a job as a representative for the prestigious line, Estee Lauder. It was during this time, that she realized the importance of personal growth and education, which brought her back to Canada where she graduated with Honours from the world renowned Blanche MacDonald Centre.
Since graduation Sara has expanded her resume by working with talent and brands such as; Standing Armed, Holt Renfrew, Hudson’s Bay Company, Cindy Busby, METRO Vancouver, Noe Bernacelli, Celina Jade, The Optical Boutique, Jodelle Ferland, Hey Ocean, Wake Owl, Carmen Moore, Stacey Clark, for her notable clothing-line ODILON, and too many beautiful brides & models to mention. Her clientele list is forever growing and her passion and ambition for her career is timeless.
Currently Sara is based out of Vancouver as a freelance Hair and Makeup Artist with her feet strongly structured as the Fashion Editor and Beauty Columnist for NICHE Magazine. She believes that you should never forget where you came from and keep your network together but forever expanding. Basic is beautiful and she is here to guide you in seeing this.
